Works great with comcast motorola hd box! Mar 20, 2012

I needed this cable to put my Comcast cable box (motorola) out of view. Since the IR receiver that's included with the cable box is too short I needed an extender. This did the trick! I previously purchased a regular 3.5mm stereo audio cable extender and it did not work. I'm not sure what the difference is but don't waste your time with a cheap cable that won't work. Get this cable it works perfectly!! Very Happy!

Simple and effective remote extender Nov 03, 2011

Like many people, I had the STB in a closet. I first put a "receiver" device through the wall so I could operate the remote, well, remotely. But after moving the TV to another wall, I was stuck with having to turn around and point the remote to the "receiver" that was behind me. This purchased this extender wire that I ran through my drop ceiling, placed the receiver node thru a hole, and voila, no problems. Great, simple, cheap answer to my problems. Highly recommended.
